Outerknown Stinson Rollneck Sweater

Chunky sweaters—especially the ones made from real-deal animal fibers—are the best-looking sweaters. Period. Wool, cashmere, alpaca. The texture is unbeatable, adding just the right amount of visual interest to an outfit. They look rugged, refined, effortless.

But here’s the thing: I can’t wear them. No matter the blend, no matter the brand, wool makes me itch. And trust me, I’ve tried. So, while the rest of the world gets cozy in their fisherman knits, I’m on the hunt for cotton sweaters to survive winter.

Most days, I’m a jeans-and-flannel or hoodie guy see my current style, but I like to step it up now and then. That’s where the Stinson rollneck sweater would come in. It’s not wool, but it still has a few details I love. The unfinished collar and chest pocket give it that broken-in, workwear feel. The sleeve seams have this funky knitted-arrow pattern—almost like the stitching on a baseball. It almost looks handmade and adds visual interest. I dig that.

If I were styling it, I’d go with raw denim and an overcoat. Maybe this Reigning Champ polo coat. Or a classic duffle from Gloverall. Or Buck Mason’s town coat. A little texture, a little structure. Clean but not precious. Just the way I like it.

This is my "hello world" post (thanks for reading!). To deal with losing links to the passing of time I'm uploading pictures of the sweater. I also added a picture of baseball stitching since I think it looks cool. I'll see what I can do about adding pictures moving forward.
